During the initial development of the RCX-76-02 Guncannon series, differently equipped units were produced for evaluation tests. For the RCX-76-01A, power and drive system tests were carried out, mainly to confirm the mobility performance. The RCX-76-01B was designed to test equipment for long distance support.
